Burrows “Steve” Baxter

Southern Shores – Burrows “Steve” Baxter, 48, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 24, 2015.  Born and raised in Charlotte, NC Steve was a retired professional bowler and business owner in the Outer Banks.  He loved to take Spring to play fetch on the beach and ride his Harley.  He was a member of the Moose Association and served as the Virginia Moose Rider State President when he lived in Williamsburg.

He is survived by his wife Stacy Spitzer Baxter of Southern Shores, NC, daughter Kyle Elisabeth Baxter of Fort Mill, SC and son Clay Stevens Baxter of Rock Hill, SC.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Gallop Funeral Home in Nags Head, followed by a Scattering Ceremony on the beach.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
