Faye Sutton
Faye Sutton, 79, of Point Harbor, NC passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with kidney disease on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:41 am. She was born in Darlington, SC on July 7, 1947, to Gladys Pauline Millen and William Lambert. She grew up in Rockingham, NC. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Millen and William Lambert; husband, St Clair Sutton; brother, Wayne Millen; and grandson, Brandon Lewis.
Faye is survived by her husband, Donald Macumber; brother, David Millen (Louise); daughter, Denise Reiner (Dave); daughter, Tammy Lewis; son, David Lewis (Ginger); son, Michael Lewis; stepdaughter, Danielle Boyd; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Loves Creek Baptist Church in Siler City, NC on August 22, 2026 at 2pm. Floral tributes may be directed to Loves Creek Baptist Church, 1745 E 11th St, Siler City, NC 27344.
Faye’s local memorial service will be held at 4pm on August 30, 2026 at Powells Point Baptist Church. Flowers may be sent to Powells Point Baptist Church, 8383 Caratoke Hwy, Powells Point, NC 27966.
Memorial donations in Faye’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Please share messages of faith and love with the family at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Faye but we know Donald Macumber. We send love and prayer's to all of Faye's family. Hold close to all of your memories for they all gifts from God to comfort you when the tugging of missing Faye tugs at your heart. Those memories will give you comfort!
My Aunt will always be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit and kindness to everyone she met. She had a special way of making people feel cared for, valued, and loved. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of so many, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace Aunt Faye.
