William Turner Bradley, Jr
Nags Head – William Turner Bradley, “Brad”, Jr (62), born on August 30th 1954 and raised in Northampton County, NC and a long term resident of Dare County, NC, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on April 3, 2017.
Brad, an avid outdoorsman, spent much of his time trout fishing off of the Nags Head Fishing Pier in his favorite honey hole. While he wasn’t fishing, Brad enjoyed hunting everything from fossils and Native American artifacts, to old bottles and wild game. He also had an interest in UFO’s and studying archaeology, and has an extensive collection of relics that will be forever cherished.
Brad, a man of wisdom, wit, laughter, kindness and known for being completely unfiltered, will be missed deeply by his four daughters: Tara, Stephanie, Beth and Alice Bradley, and his girlfriend of 26 years, Mary Nelson, and many friends. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Hayes Chambers, Emory Chambers, and Kamani Johnson, his sister, Sybil, and husband, Joe Sphar, his niece, Susan “Cookie” Cooke and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Geraldine Mason Bradley and William Turner Bradley, Sr.
Services will be held April 13th at 2 P.M. at the Nags Head Fishing Pier. Arrangements are pending in North Hampton County.
