William J. Burns, Jr.
William Joseph Burns, Jr. finished his earthly walk December 8, 2022 at the age of 92 at his Kitty Hawk home. Bill served honorably in the US Coast Guard and eventually retired from a long career in the tool and die industry.
He is survived by several relatives including his wife of nearly 40 years Sylvia Burns, his children, several grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
The family is honoring Bill’s plans for cremation. His remains will be returned back home to Rhode Island, and there are no plans for services at this time. Please share condolences with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com

My old golf buddy and friend even if he was an avid Red Sox fan instead of a Yankees fan. I cherish my times spent with him and will miss him .

Dear Sly and Family, Even though we had lost touch these last few years it was with great sadness I read about Bill's passing. Bill and I enjoyed many years of golf together beand when I moved to VT I really missed
