William E. (Ellie) Grumiaux Jr.

Southern Shores – William E. (Ellie) Grumiaux Jr., passed away at his home in Southern Shores December 18, 2014. Ellie spent 40 years total working in the advertising and promotional departments for Kelvinator in Detroit, MI and for Price’s appliances in Norfolk, VA. from 1987 until 1993. When he retired, Ellie was the marketing director for the United Way in Norfolk Va. Later, Ellie moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where he pursued his real love of art work .

Ellie is pre-deceased by his parents and son David . He is survived by wife, Wray; daughter, Sue Bruening (Richard); son, Max Grumiaux ( Kristina ); and grandchildren, Max & Adri Bruening and Brittny, Caitlin , and Ally Grumiaux .

A memorial service will be held at Outer Banks Presbyterian Church Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 11 am. The Rev. Jody Moore will be the officiant.
