William “Bill” Gaskins

Kill Devil Hills – William “Bill” Gaskins left his earthly home on December 21.  He was born April 7, 1933 in Norfolk VA.  He is predeceased by his parents, Jake and Della Gaskins and brother, Jake Jr.  Bill served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Korean War. He served aboard the USS Missouri.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Penny Gaskins, four sons and their families; Clifford and Terri, children Chelsea Gaskins, Zachary and Jessica Krohn of Virginia Beach, VA.  Dean and Patsy, son Brandon of Raleigh NC, Glenn of Dendron VA, children Zachary and Melissa of Carrsville, VA.  Blair and Teri of NC, son Kenneth and his son Devin of Suffolk VA,  and Dalton Oakley of NC.  His brother, Charles and wife Sandra of Elgin, SC and sister, Sandra Tatem of Virginia Beach, VA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday December 29, 12 noon, at Outer Banks Baptist Church 210 West First St., Kill Devil Hills, NC.
