Thomas Clyde Seagle, III
Thomas Clyde Seagle, III of Iron Station, NC died peacefully September 11, 2022 while on vacation in his beloved Outer Banks.
Thom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. Seagle Jr., his mother Betty Ann Lancaster Seagle Bayley, and his brother Capt. Jeb Franklin Seagle USMC.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Keever Seagle, children Stacey Sheppard (Scott) of Graniteville SC, and Jeb Seagle (Ashley Bober) of Hartsville SC. He is additionally survived by sister Patricia Scronce (David) of Lincolnton, niece Angela Holliday (Phillip) of Denver and numerous cousins.
He also leaves behind the “4-legged gang, North and South Carolina Chapters” that he loved so dearly.
Thom never met a stranger and had friends from all walks of life. He cherished each and every one of those friendships. He would tell you all to hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them. He certainly told us. His was a life well lived in spite of many challenges.
The family is planning a celebration of Thom’s life and his love of the Outer Banks. As requested, his cremated remains will be scattered at the spots he and his family enjoyed over 42 years of visiting this God-given slice of Heaven on earth.
