  3. I’m deeply saddened by this news. I have many memories of Terry that I will hold dear forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
God speed and may you have peace, Terry. It was a pleasure to have known you, my neighbor.

  4. So sad to hear this. A great friend and one of the quickest witted people i ever met. He was a good man.

  5. I am so sorry to learn of Terry’s passing. We always enjoyed seeing him at Two Roads. So appreciated his quick wit and he was fun to be around. Once, on a busy night at the bar, I needed another beer so I phoned the bar. He answered and I said, “Geeze, can a girl get a beer here?” He turned around and saw it was me calling from the bar at 3ft away. He laughed and said no one has ever pulled that one on him. His family and dear friends are in my prayers.

  6. We will truly miss Terry.
He was my 1st real friend when I moved to the Outer Banks. Always went out of his way to make me laugh. We had the same sense of humor. My other half, Harold loved him even more. His loss will be felt by many. We offer our condolences to the family, friends and his children that he always praised.

  7. Terry your humor will be missed as well as your t-shirts. Walking into Two Roads and not seeing your friendly face will never be the same. Wishing your family comfort at this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers to all those that loved you. You will be greatly missed Terry.

Terry Kelly

April 16, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Terry Kelly on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Born October 11, 1976 in Norfolk, VA. Terry moved with his family in 1986 to the Outer Banks and worked in their family owned and operated restaurant in Rodanthe, NC.

That early experience led him to pursue a career in the food service industry.  He served in many of our local restaurants and made Two Roads his home. His witty, sarcastic and entertaining personality made him instantly an OBX favorite bartender. He will always be known for his T-Shirt Collection and his love for his customers and co- workers.

Terry is survived by his children, Alyssa Kelly, Killian and his wife Wendy Kelly; his mother, Sandy Williams and his step-father Jim Williams; his father, Don Kelly; sister Jen, Zadd and her husband Evan Zadd. He is also survived by his aunt, Pam Bradford and David Wachholz; his aunt, Terry Auxier; uncle, Rob Bradford; niece and nephews, Ethan, Scarlett, Cyrus Lowe and many beloved cousins and friends.

A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. Please share expressions of sympathy with gallopfuneralservies.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
