Susan Ann Walker
Kill Devil Hills – Susan Ann Walker, 68, passed away December 7, 2015 at home, in her husband’s arms.
Suzie spent her childhood in San Diego, CA. She went on to work at the Boeing Corporation for over 30 years as an encapsulator in both the commercial and military divisions.
After a successful career, Suzie and her husband moved to the Outer Banks where she enjoyed her well-earned retirement.
Suzie was a kind, loving, and fun person- she’ll always be remembered by everyone she touched.
Survivors of Suzie Walker include her husband Joe Walker of the Kill Devil Hills residence; her daughter, Tyla Brennise (Randy) of Tacoma, WA; her son, Joel Cappello (Sara) of Marysville, WA; her step-daughter Martha (Chad) Townsend of Catonsville, MD, her sister-in-law, Janice (Larry) Walker of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. Suzie is also survived by her mother, one sister and one brother.
A mass celebrating Suzie’s life will be held at St. Clemmons/St. Peters Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA on Friday December 11, 2015 at 9:30 am. Father William Marshall will be the celebrant.
Memorial gifts in Suzie’s memory are welcome at Wounded Warriors of America.
