Steven Ryan Rainwater

Steven Ryan Rainwater, 27, of Grandy, North Carolina passed away suddenly after an unforeseen accident on May 14, 2021. Ryan’s family is shocked and deeply saddened by their loss.

Ryan was born on June 7, 1993 to June Campbell and Steven Rainwater in Chesapeake, Virginia. After graduating from Currituck County High School in 2011, Ryan focused on various construction jobs.

Ryan loved crabbing, fishing, four wheeling, and most importantly, his son, Dawson Rainwater and daughter, Kayleigh Ballance. He was a bright and kind individual. Anyone who knew Ryan, knew that he was the light that could make any person laugh. He was always a source of positivity. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Ryan is survived by his son, Dawson Rainwater; daughter, Kayleigh Ballance; mother, June Campbell; and his brothers, Lewis Burgwald, Josh Campbell, Junior Campbell, Chris Rainwater, Danny Rainwater, Shawn Rainwater.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Gallop Memorial Chapel in Barco. Please join us celebrating his life Tuesday afternoon May 25, 2021, 1:00 P.M. — at Powell’s Point Christian Church, 197 Church Rd, Harbinger, Nc. Following a burial ceremony at Laurel Memorial Gardens, and reception will be held at 120 Mallard St, Grandy, NC.
