Sharon A. Snowden

Kill Devil Hills- Sharon A. Snowden or “Sherri” as she was best known, died peacefully in Nags Head October 14, 2015 after a long battle with COPD and heart disease.  She was 59.

She was predeceased by her parents, Marilyn and Richard Holden and by her two brothers Ronald Holden and Ricky Holden.

Sherri worked for many years as a local house painter. In her spare time she loved music, singing, and playing guitar. She also loved cooking and bickering with her big sister, Bobbi.

Sherri’s survivors include her loving sister, Bobbi Hughes (Tim Head) of Kill Devil Hills; her nephew, Jayson Holden; her dear friend Kerry Horne; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will announce the date of the memorial service at a future time.  In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that donations in Sherri’s name be forwarded to Gallop Funeral Services in Nags Head to assist with her funeral expenses.
