Scott B. Whipple
Scott Bartlett Whipple has broken his Earthly bonds at the age of 62. He was at his home in Corolla, NC where he lived quietly for the past several years.
For many years, Scott excelled as a specialized, high-end mechanic. Later he was employed as a paralegal for a patent and trademark law firm. He lived his life to the fullest and loved reading, music, and hanging out with his friends.
Scott Whipple is survived by his two sons, Nathan and Andrew; his mother, Nancy; his father, Bill; his siblings, Brett and Jennifer; and numerous other relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
The family is honoring Scott’s preference for the simplicity of cremation. They will gather in Virginia at a future time to celebrate Scott’s life. Please share condolences with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.

Being a close friend and neighbor from Elementary thru High School, Scott was always a leader in learning about bikes, motorcycles, cars and girls. I'm sorry we didn't remain in touch.
When two lonely soles meet in the SeaLoftVilliage of Corolla, North Carolina, it was just what we both really needed. As Scott's last true best friend, I will cherish all the good memories close to my heart. I love you as much as I love my own Brother. Please rest easy now good friend. Never going to forget your kind heart.

I wish you did not have to leave so soon. I will miss those marathon cell calls discussing fish tank accessories, rock music and fast cars. Always accepting of people just the 'way you are' and sharing that kind heart and spirit. Rest easy now Scott. Always in my heart.

Just hearing about Scott's passing. We had many a good times together over the years. Scott was always thoughtful and generous. RIP and condolences to his family. He talked about his mom often.
Scott..I can hardly believe we’ll never speak again..thanks for inviting me to the beach earlier this yr..the weather was beautiful & as I dozed off I could hear you singing to The Beatles..I hate that you won’t see this honey..you sure were a good friend to me these last 12 mos…RIP my sweet friend

I'm so sorry to here about scott,he was a dear friend of mine,I wanted to extend my condolences, God Bless.
Truely a good man. He took me in and put a roof over my head, treating me as if I was his daughter. He tried his best to support me and pull me out of a bad situation and I only wish that I hadn’t let fear stop me from replying when he reached out last. Forever grateful.
Thank you for a lifetime friendship. I treasure the times we had together growing up as your friend and next door neighbor, times with your family, get togethers as adults, and phone calls after you moved to the beach. Your friend always...RIP
