Ryan A. Bowles
Colington- Ryan A. Bowles, 63, stepped into eternity in Colington, NC October 19, 2022. He was predeceased by his father, Russell Bowles several years ago.
Ryan was born and raised in Richmond Virginia. He had an idyllic childhood playing sports and developing into a great athlete. Favoring baseball, Ryan became a great pitcher while also nurturing a passion for the Green Bay Packers.
In more recent years, Ryan was well known on the local social scene as a popular restaurant manager. He ran the local Applebee’s restaurant from its opening and grew it into one of the most desirable meeting places on the beach. When he wasn’t working, Ryan loved meeting his many friends out on the town.
Ryan is survived by his mother Betty Zittrain (Brian); his sister, Monta Fultz; his two brothers, Kyle Bowles (Tana) and Thad Bowles; three nephews, Jordan, Seth, and Maddux; and two nieces, Charlotte, and Gray- all of Richmond. Also left to cherish Ryan’s memory, is his loyal, longtime girlfriend and caregiver, Debbie Ingham and her son, Bryant Ingham who loved Ryan as a dad.
Debbie is hosting a celebration of Ryan’s life at their Colington residence Monday, October 24, 2022 at 2 pm. Ryan’s family and friends are welcome.

I was sorry to hear of Ryan's passing. We went to ODU at the same time and there was a group of us who spent many fun evenings together hanging out. I will keep his family and Debbie in my prayers. Sincerely, Jay Atchison
