Ruth Anne Miller

Maple – Ruth Anne Miller, 67, passed away of natural causes, December 6, 2018 in Chesapeake.  Ruth was born December 16, 1950 to the late Martin and Annie Grimstead.  She was also predeceased by husband, James E. Miller.  Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be remembered lovingly as “Maw Maw”.

Ruth’s survivors include three daughters, Julie Labounty of Maple, NC, Debra Labounty (Samuel) of TN, and Crystal Daneker (Jordon) also of Maple, NC; seven grandchildren, J.R., Jamie, Chelsea, Jenna, T.J., Gabe, and Avery; her siblings, Kathy Suzie Lawrence (Butch) of Rocky Mount, NC, and Clarence Grimstead of VA; and a host of other relatives and extended family members.

Friends and family may view Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 5-7pm at the Gallop Funeral Memorial Chapel in Barco, NC.  The funeral will be held graveside 3pm, Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Rutter Family Cemetery of Chesapeake, VA.
