Russell Leon Grogan

Kill Devil Hills – Russell Leon Grogan, 74, of Colington Harbor, Kill Devil Hills, NC, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 6, 2017.

He had a debilitating illness for approximately 8 months. He worked as a police officer for 15 years in Greensboro, NC, and also a buyer for the Belk Corporation. Russ was a quiet man who spoke softly and did a lot of personal Bible Study. He also did extensive research of the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic languages relating to the Bible.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Bo-Etta, his children Janet Watson and husband Will of Savannah, GA, Robin Lopez and husband Edi of Hope Springs, NC, Andrew Duncan of Statesville, NC, Sandra Osman, Maris, and Will, Lisa Blum and husband David, and many sweet grandchildren.  He is also survived by a twin brother David Grogan and wife Carol.
