Roy L. Bullough

Kill Devil Hills, NC – On Wednesday, July 30, 2008, Roy L. Bullough died after a brave battle with cancer.  Roy was born in Rochester, New York October 7, 1934.  He was the son of the late Nelson Joseph Lambert and Lois Stone Purtell and the brother of the late Georgia Beaton all of upstate New York.

He served his Country honorably in the United States Navy.  He was a master of many trades. He met and married his wife and soul mate of 31 years, Donna Jean.  Roy and Donna retired together to The Outer Banks where they have resided for the last 22 years.  Roy will be remembered for his warm humor, love of the water, golf and poker.

Left to cherish the memory of Roy Bullough is his wife Donna Jean Bullough of the Kill Devil Hills residence; two sons, Roy Foster of New Jersey and Jon Foster, wife Heidi, of Nevada; one daughter Cynthia Lynne Kluth, husband Christopher Sean and Grandson Evan Reed of Maryland; one sister Sue Hawley of Kill Devil Hills; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and dear friends.
