Robin Plemmons

Robin Moody Plemmons passed away on May 29, 2025 at Duke Medical, surrounded by her adoring family. Robin was born in Cayce, SC, to Henry and Dorothea Moody. She attended college at Clemson University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Robin enjoyed living in Missouri, Georgia, California, and Arizona throughout the years, never meeting a stranger. She was thrilled to retire to Kill Devil Hills, NC, in 2021, where she loved beach life and enjoyed a fun social life with friends.
Robin was a super proud Momma and Grandmomma. She is survived by husband Rob and children Stefanie (Ryan Shaughnessy), Joe (Rachel Gordon), Trisha, and Katie (Jason Schukraft), as well as two fabulous grands, her beloved dog (Bonnie), three granddogs, and five grandcats.
A memorial service to honor Robin’s memory will be held at Gallop Funeral Services Nags Head Chapel Saturday June 7, 2025 at 10 am. There will be a gathering at the Colington Harbour Clubhouse, 1000 Colington Drive, following the service. Please leave a message of comfort at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
