Roberta Jane Beauchamp

Southern Shores – Roberta Jane Beauchamp passed away peacefully at her Southern Shores, NC home December 14, 2017. She was 85.

Born in Baltimore, MD., Roberta was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Lancaster. She grew up in the Mt. Washington, MD area.  Roberta eventually went on to work in telecommunications in various capacities and retired from the Western Electric Company. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Roberta raised 10 children. She also loved flowers and gardening.

Left to cherish Roberta’s memory is her husband of 52 years, Kenneth L. Beauchamp of the Southern Shores residence; three daughters, Lita Katulski (Mathew), Linda Hess (John) of Glen Burnie, MD, and Renee Reimer (Tom) of Dundalk, MD; seven sons, Craig Lamp (Barbara) also of Dundalk, MD, Neil Lamp of Southern Shores, Jim Beauchamp of Baltimore, MD, Douglas Beauchamp of Georgia, Thomas Beauchamp (Kelly) of Dundalk, MD, John Beauchamp (Debbie) of Baltimore, MD and Joe Beauchamp also of Maryland.  Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members.

The family is planning a private memorial service to be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are gratefully welcome at Feline Hope PO Box 893 Kitty Hawk, NC 27949.
