  10. Bob, Lisa and Heather,
My heart hurts for all of you. My memories of sweet Bobby as a child will always be in my heart. He was a big part of your Villas experience. I loved having the kids at our house. Bobby had the sweetest disposition, even now I can see him in my mind as a 10

year old, riding his bike and he had the sweetest smile. Even though I haven’t seen you all in years, I will always love you all. God bless you Bobby.

  11. I am so sorry for your loss. Words can’t even say. I know that Booby was dearly loved by his family and will be missed immensely. To my dear Heather, I’m so sorry. You loved your brother deeply and he knew that. To all of the family, I love you.

  12. Lisa and Bob, my deepest sympathy. Hope our paths cross again someday. Love to you both

  13. I’m so sorry to hear this. I knew Bob from living in kill devil hills for around 9 months or so. When I first got there I had no place to go, I didn’t know anyone, no place to rest my head, and no money. Bob and I struck a friendship up and he put a roof over my head for a week while I got a job and got back on my feet. You could be having a bad day but when you met up with him everything just seemed alright. He showed me around, introduced me to people, and no matter how much or how little help he had to give he always gave it. After spending those months at the beach and hanging with Bob one thing was very evident, how much he loved his son. He would do anything for little Bob and he talked about him non stop. Where ever he is I know he’s got his shades on, hat back, and the most contagious smile you’d ever seen.

  14. I remember Bobby from living at our condo in Kitty Hawk back in the mid-90s. Bobby, Heather and my children were neighborhood friends. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Sending condolences to his family and may Bobby rest in peace.

  15. Growing up with Bob Frank since grade school, we always connected and found joy and laughter when together. As we grew older life’s priorities took over but I have nothing but fond memories of Bob and his smile was certainly infectious. He introduced me to my first skateboard, taught me how to excel at beach fishing as a teen and showed me some great music. Rest east Bob and keep a close eye on your beautiful son. We will all miss you and the positivity you brought to this world. Much love light and healing to his family, friends, and loved ones. The world is just a bit more gray without him here.

  16. My heart goes out to my family. God please watch over my cousin Bobby. As he was taking from this world way too young. I truly hope your at peace and all of your pain and suffering is all over. Too young to be forgotten!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢

  17. Bobby, may your new found wings have you fly high as you desire. No more hardships. Don’t be afraid. The hands that cup you are of the Lord. He will take of you from here. Love , only Love

  18. I’m so sorry for your loss. May his spirit be a source of light for you all to heal.
    God Bless you all.
Keeping you in my heart and prayers!

Robert M. Frank III

May 1, 2024

Robert M. Frank III, affectionately known as Bobby, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Born on January 31, 1989, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Bobby spent most of his life on the Outer Banks of North Carolina surrounded by family and friends. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in fishing, hunting, and being on the water, where he felt most at peace. Despite life’s rough waters, Bobby’s eyes sparkled when reminiscing on good times with fondness and warmth.

Though he faced his share of challenges, Bobby’s heart of gold shined through. His love for his family, especially his son, Robert, was his greatest source of pride. Bobby’s contagious laughter and unconditional friendship touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving a mark of compassion and love that will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his cherished son, Robert M. Frank IV; his loving mother, Lisa Koehler-Frank; his devoted father and best friend, Robert M. (Karen) Frank Jr.; his beloved sister, Heather (Guy) Sholar, and nephew Archer, as well as his cousin Ray (Bridget) Scott and uncle Chris Frank who were more like brothers to him. Bobby also leaves behind a close-knit extended family, including his aunts and uncles, Lisa and Ray, Jon and Kathy, Drew and Valerie, Lori, and Cari, who served as second sets of parents, often offering guidance and support throughout his life’s journey. Additionally, he is survived by cousins Ali, Scott, Jenny, Jessie, Drew, Shelby, and a handful of younger cousins, all of whom held a special place in his life.

Bobby leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but his memory will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have loved him. His spirit will continue to live on and his light will forever shine bright in our hearts.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Please share condolences with Bobby’s family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
