Robert Burt Wilson

Robert Burt (RW) Wilson, 57, a resident of 125 Roanoke Drive, Kill Devil Hills, NC died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Nags Head, NC.

Born in Duke Hospital, Durham, NC on January 2, 1950 he was the son of the late Emagene Kearns Wilson and the late Max Wilson.

After several years employment with Duke Power Company as a Professional Engineer, he owned and operated RW’s Landscaping in Kill Devil Hills, NC.

He was a graduate of Grimsley High School, Greensboro, NC where he was on the baseball and basketball teams. He also played on Little League teams for several years.

He was also a graduate of the Engineering School of North Carolina State University where he was also on the baseball team.

He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Scott Hartwell and husband John of Gaithersburg, MD, one brother, Max K Wilson and wife Susan of Phoenix, MD, and one aunt, Elizabeth Kearns Lowman of Kill Devil Hills and Burlington, NC, and one cousin, Kearns Lowman and wife Rhonda of Kill Devil Hills NC, and four grandsons, John Scott Hartwell, Mathew Hartwell, Robert Hartwell, and Phillip Hartwell, all of Gaithersburg, MD, and two nieces, Kelly Wilson and Karen Wilson, both of Phoenix, MD.
