Ricky Lee Shepley

Kitty Hawk- Mr. Ricky Lee Shepley, of Kitty Hawk, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the age of 56.

Rick was born to parents Shirley and Joseph Shepley on February 24, 1960 in Frederick, MD. He grew up one of five children and attended Middletown High School. In 1983, he married his high school sweetheart, Karen Shepley and went on to welcome two children. In 1991, they relocated to Lewes Delaware where he took a position as a drywall mechanic.

Rick was well known by friends and family for his incredible work ethic and sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing with friends, watching his nephew play basketball, and traveling to New Orleans with his wife. He recently welcomed a granddaughter and frequently spoke of his love for her.

Rick is survived by his wife Karen Shepley; daughter, Stephanie King; son Scott Shepley; daughter Gerri Pantiga; mother, Shirley Fox; and three surviving siblings.
