Pauline Dizinno
Nags Head- Pauline Dizinno died on Friday July 6, 2012 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was 76 years old. Pauline was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey where she met her husband Robert Dizinno. They then moved to Parsippany, NJ and lived there for 9 years. They then moved to Bud Lake where Pauline lived for 20 years. Pauline worked for Seiko for many years and gained many friends from her job there. She was a dedicated member of St. Jude’s Church and attended church there for many years while she lived in New Jersey.
After her husband passed away, Pauline met a man, Tom Irwin, who became her companion for over 15 years and passed just over a month ago. They both retired to Nags Head, NC where they enjoyed 12 years together.
Pauline is survived by her 4 loving children Debra McMahon, Michael, Robert, and Philip Dizinno and her loving son and daughter-in laws Michael McMahon, Sonya, Patricia and Lori Dizinno. She is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren Kristin, Morgan, Matt, Michael, Shane, Amanda, Jenna, and Christian. Pauline is also survived by Lea Bella, her one and only great-granddaughter whom she cherished. Pauline is also survived by two caring brothers, Leonard and Walter Zennario and many nieces and nephews. Pauline has some special angels waiting for her in heaven including her husband Robert, her grandson Mikey and her companion Tom.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 PM at Scala Memorial Home in Hackettstown, NJ. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 O’Clock AM Thursday June 12, 2012 at St. Jude’s Church in Bud Lake, NJ followed by burial as Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ.
In lieu of flowers , the family gratefully suggests that memorial donations be made in honor of Pauline’s grandson Mikey , to the United Cerebral Palsy 1825 K. Street Washington, DC 20006.
