Pauline A. Ingold
Manteo – Pauline A. Ingold of Manteo, NC died July 14, 2016 at home after a brave battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Ann Marie Valiquette and the sister of the late Paul Valiquette.
Pauline was born in Hartford, Connecticut July 24, 1943 and was raised in Massachusetts. In addition to raising her family, Pauline loved quilting, hiking, and camping. She was also an accomplished horsewoman and rode in the 1989 Rose Parade. Her loving family is a lasting monument to her spirit.
Surviving Pauline Ingold is her husband Reeves Ingold of the Manteo, NC residence; three sisters, Pat Shackleford of Colorado Springs, CO, Cecillia Brown of Bakersfield, CA, and Terri Hypse of NC; one brother, Tom Valiquette of Idaho Falls, ID; two daughters, Dorothy Baytes (Jeff) also of Manteo and Dorinda Stafford (Rick) of Colorado Springs, CO; four sons, Robert LaBelle (Dana) of Spring Valley, CA, Scott Ingold (Stephanie) of Broken Arrow, OK, Eugene LaBelle of Rogers, AK, and Michael LaBelle of Idaho. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members from all over the country.
The family has no plans for a memorial service at this time. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts in Pauline’s honor be made to the Interfaith Community Outreach (ICO) of Kill Devil Hills, NC.
