Patricia Bucknum Julian
On Monday, June 27th 2022, Patricia Bucknum Julian, loving wife and mother of four children passed away at the age of 69.
Pat was a force of nature and fiercely independent. She lived her life with and equal measure of compassion and conviction. To know her was to love her and if you were fortunate enough to be in her orbit you were loved like no other.
She spent her life in the service of others and never wanted the spotlight put on her even though she deserved it more than most. Her passion for being a mother and creating a home was only matched by her passion to really know you in a way that you wouldn’t soon forget.
Pat was born August 1st, 1952 in Morrisville, PA and predeceased in death by her parents Robert and Rita Bucknum as well as her son Kevin Nicholson. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Julian; and her children, Robert, Amy and Elias. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom, Barbara, Maryann, Bob and Richard.
A casual memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at the Nags Head residence on Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 12-4pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Pat’s memory to the World Central Kitchen. I did not know Pat very well but her positivity and kindness were a great support as I was going through a tremendously difficult divorce. Very sad to lose her so young and not to have had a chance to get to know her better. My sincere condolences to Tim and her family. I cannot imagine how much she will be missed.
