Neil “Fisher” Essenfeld

Kill Devil Hills- Neil “Fisher” Essenfeld of Kill Devil Hills, was born April 21st 1964 in Brooklyn, New York and left this life suddenly on Wednesday, November 4th 2015 at the age of 51.

Fisher lived his life on the stage, traveling all over world bringing the music to the people. All while making instant, life-long friends. He was larger than life and lived his life doing what he loved alongside his extended family of friends.

On November 20th, 2007, after eight years together, he married the love of his life, Stacie, gaining the son he always wanted in Tyler, and spent the remained of his life protecting and providing for the family he loved.

He is survived by his loving, devoted wife Stacie, son Tyler and special little girls Brooklyn, Chelsea and Houston of the home; along with his father Barry Essenfeld and wife Susan of Los Angeles, mother Roslyn Cop and husband Ted of Tannersville PA, brother Robbie “Little Fish” Essenfeld of Los Angeles, sister Rachel, “Uncle Howie” Essenfeld of East Setauket NY, Grandmother Shirley Gustun of Long Island NY, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Ilena Essenfeld along with daddy’s special little girl, Sheana.

Friends and family may view and celebrate his life on the stage at Roanoke Island Festival Park on Saturday, November 7th 2015 from 4:30 – 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at 102 Shedders Walk, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948.
