Nancy Paige Harrell

October 20, 2021

Nancy Paige Harrell died peacefully at the age of 74 years young in Virginia Beach October 20, 2021.  She bravely and graciously battled the ravages of Parkinson’s disease for several years.  “Paige” as she was best known; loved color, style, fashion, design, hats, shoes, jewelry, lipstick, great parties, and making everyone feel beautiful and loved.

She started and successfully grew her own retail boutique Paige’s- where she was sought out by the most successful and notable women on the beach to make them look fabulous for events and everyday living. Paige was also active in Ocean View Baptist Church for many years organizing fundraisers such as teas, fashion shows, yard sales and Christmas Bazaars and she was a founding Red Hat member.

As her condition became more serious, Paige moved from Kill Devil Hills, NC to Chesapeake to reside with her son, Jonathan and his family. Also surviving is her son, Matthew of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her brother, Ronald Matthews (Mary Catherine) of Suffolk, VA; her nephew, Jason Matthews; her niece, Rhonda King; several grandchildren, and a group of loyal and devoted friends- especially Temple Heggie who never wavered in service to her friend, Paige.  Paige’s former husband and children’s father, Ed Harrell died recently in Florida.

Paige’s specific plans for cremation will be honored as will her clear directive for no memorial services. In lieu of flowers or donations sympathy cards and notes are welcome and should be posted directly to Jonathan’s address or care of Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. Please leave expressions of sympathy, memories, kind words, and encouragement to the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
