Michael Scott Herbin

Kill Devil Hills-  Michael Scott Herbin, 45 died unexpectedly in Nags Head September 20, 2008.  Michael was the son of the late George Raymond Herbin and Vivian Kelly Herbin of Nags Head.  He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina January 5, 1963.

Scott, as friends and family knew him, resided in the Outer Banks since the mid-seventies. He was a graduate of Manteo High School and was a member of the Manteo Tennis Team. Scott also had a life long passion for fishing and surfing.

Left to cherish Scott’s memory is his mother Vivian Herbin;  two brothers, Tim Herbin and wife Amy and Kevin Herbin and wife Alice, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held Saturday September 27, 2008 at First Flight Church (His Dream Center) in Nags Head at 1 O’clock in the afternoon. Calvary Fellowship Church Pastor Michael Danaher and Reverend David Daniels will officiate. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.  Memorial tributes in honor of Michael Scott Herbin may be forwarded to Dare Challenge PO Box 123 Wanchese, North Carolina  27981.
