Condolences
christy, tony, david and family- deepest sympathy to all of you- we did not know that Missy had been ill! Jerry and Anita let us know of her passing into heaven! I know you loved her so well and I pray the God of all comfort will bring His presence and love into every minute you think of her! I believe Lynn is dancing/ shagging around the throne room with her even now as they are reunited in God’s house!
It was my great pleasure to get to know this sweet and courageous lady near the end of her life. It was my joy to bring a smile to her face in her most difficult times. Whether it was watching her soaps together and making fun of the storyline or just sitting together laughing at the funniest Tik toks I could find. Even though our time together was short I was able to tell her how much of an impact her courage and humility has made on my life. I will always admire her and Tony and her family for the courageous battle they fought. Missy, you have taught me so much. Until we meet again sweet lady.
I went to high school with Missy. She loved life and her family. My prayers go out to her family.
I had the privileged of working with Missy as a 911 telecommunicator for several years. She was very kindhearted and always had an infectious smile. I am sorry for the loss of such an amazing friend.
I was saddened to hear that Missy had passed. I worked with her at Hotline. She was sweet, caring, and funny and will be missed by many - whose lives she touched, even for a short while. I am keeping her family and friends in my prayers as they mourn the loss of such a special lady. I hope that they will find comfort in their memories of the time they shared with her. I know I will.
I haven't seen Missy in years. I didn't even know she was that sick. I am so sorry for your loss. She was always a very nice person. I will keep her family and close friends in my thoughts and prayers. 💔🙏🏻💔
I’m heartbroken to hear of Missy’s passing. I’ve never met a kinder, more vibrant and selfless person. She was always an encourager and would do anything to help others. I met her in Manteo when she worked at Subway…she would visit me after she left there and thru these visits I know she lived her family fiercely. when she met Tony, she brought him to meet me and it was like seeing an old friend. I knew he loved Missy and she absolutely love him. God knew what he was doing when he brought these two together! I pray for peace and comfort for the whole family and I know y'all have plenty of awesome memories of a wonderful woman…I know I do …she made quite the impact …just thought there was more time!
Rest easy Beautiful lady!
Missy was my bestie in elementary /middle school when her family lived in Weldon. We had some of the best time together. I always enjoyed hanging out with her! Memories will be forever in my heart. Prayers for you all! 🫣
I first met Missy when I went into Subway in Manteo. She always complimented me on my bold lipstick colors. I would have lunch there often and always enjoyed getting to know her more every time. She would even add some extra cheese and bacon on my potato soup. Such a sweet and kind soul. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. Her family are in my thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.
Missy was my everything. As her hospice caregiver with Adoration for almost a year I had the blessing and opportunity to share my love and support for her. This woman was feisty, fierce, smart and very sweet. Thank you Missy for always being there for me and returning the same compassion and kindness I gave you. You will never be forgotten and I will be eagerly waiting to see you again in heaven baby girl. Sending my deepest condolences to the family and friends along with my prayers for comfort, strength and peace. 💕💕💕🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
I loved Missy. She was so nice to me. She never forgot me no matter how long it had been since we’d been in contact with each other. The world lost a good one. Heaven got a great angel.
