Christopher Thomas Lewis

Nags Head- Christopher Thomas Lewis passed away unexpectedly in Colington, NC May 17, 2022 at the age of 43. He was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC and spent most of his life in Currituck County, NC.

Chris was a trained carpenter and owned his own remodeling company- OBX Construction. When he wasn’t working- he was enjoying all kinds of outdoors activities including fishing, kayaking, and hunting. Chris was also a talented artist, welder, machinist, and woodworker. He was loved by all who knew him.

Chris Lewis is survived by his parents Floyd and Salli Lewis of Williamston, NC; his son, Talyn Lewis; his daughter, Leighton Lewis, his children’s mother, Wendy O’neal- all of Nags Head; one sister, Nicole McManus (Cory) of Tennessee; three brothers, Thomas Lewis of Greenville, NC, Mike Kidd (Sarah), and Robert Snape (Emily) both of Maine; his children’s grandparents, Joanne and Phillip Hayes of Currituck, NC and a host of other relatives and close friends.

The memorial service will be held June 6, 2022 and 2:00 pm at the Little Bridge on the Nags Head Causeway.  Please visit www.gallopfuneralservices.com to share sympathies with the family and check for service details. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
