Mary Carla Longfellow

Avon – On Saturday July 12, 2014 Mary Carla Longfellow ,60, Of New Matamoras Ohio passed on quietly in her sleep while surrounded by love.

Mary was the loving daughter of Thomas W. Hubbard & Ethel A. (Earley) Hubbard and sister to Patricia “Pati” Mae Hancock who were there to greet her on the other side. She leaves behind her sister Joyce Ann Spears and two brothers Emmett Daryl Hubbard and Thomas Walter Hubbard II who are all mourning for her unexpected departure.

She was a gentle and calm mother to 3 daughters, Heather Dawn Martin with husband David John Martin of Willis Texas, Belinda Lynn Longfellow with husband Chad William Speedy of Avon North Carolina and Roxanne Leigh Weaver of Byron Georgia.

She has 16 grand children that are all feeling the loss of her passing deeply.

She touched the hearts of everyone she meet with her fun, loving, and gentle spirit. Mary will be greatly missed. We hope everyone who had a chance to know her will think back on who she was and hold onto the memories that will lift them through this moment.

We will be planning a memorial event at a later point to celebrate the light she shared.
