Mary Ann Milburn

Southern Shores- Mary Ann Milburn, of Southern Shores, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at age 81.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry; her two sons, Darrell (Mary) and Doug (Trish); and four grandchildren, Joshua, Darcy (Clark Gascoigne), Jonathan (Jessie), and Lauren.

Mary Ann was a Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing graduate, who worked in the recovery room, drug and alcohol unit as well as in mental health during her nursing career.

Mary Ann and Larry retired to the Outer Banks in 1996, where she was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Duck, and the Duck Woods Country Club.  She made quilts for the Linus Quilt program and was the past president of the Beach Food Pantry.  She was a Certified Master Gardener and was past president of the Dunes of Dare Garden Club.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Go to God with all our love.
