Marshall Earl Brewer

June 10, 2025

On June 10, 2025, the clouds lifted and let Marshall Earl Brewer into his eternal home. Marshall was not an ordinary man. He was not perfect… Marshall was real! Strong-willed, stubborn, and extremely hardheaded at times. But he had an enormous heart and a great sense of humor. He was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun!

Marshall was just a big goofball, loving, and never afraid to share his feelings with the people he cared about. He had nicknames for everybody. Everyone was a donut, muffin, coconut, or potato head to him. He would never miss an opportunity to squeeze the nose of a human or a pet.

Marshall was born on October 24, 1967, in Siler City, North Carolina. He had numerous stories about his childhood—some good, some bad, but not boring. From an early age, he learned that if you want something in life, you need to work for it, and he worked hard throughout his life. He put in 100% into everything he did. Marshall developed a love for music as a child, listening to the radio and recording his favorite songs at night. In high school, he began dancing and discovered DJing, which became a significant part of his life over the years. He had the soul of an artist. Marshall loved music, painting, and dance. He channeled his creativity into building houses, creating websites, and mixing songs.

Marshall was born in the country but found his home when he moved to the Outer Banks. He loved the beach and had never seen himself living anywhere else. Most of the people on the beach know him as DJ Marshall. For years, he kept the party going on the Outer Banks. He spun the music in every club and bar at some point, but Kelly’s was his favorite spot. Those walls still hear Marshall’s loud music. He loved everything he did! Whether it’s playing music at night or building and remodeling houses during the day. Marshall could build or fix anything!

Marshall’s life was anything but ordinary; it is not possible to put his story into a few words. He went through different stages, he learned, he adopted, and he grew spiritually and emotionally. Marshall was a highly religious person; he spent many hours reading his Bible. But most of all, he loved his family. Marshall raised three great kids. Two boys, Marnell and Chad, and the youngest, his princess Zofia. He loved his kids deeply. Marshall was a dedicated dad and always put his children first. He was very proud of who his boys became, and a beautiful, inside and out, woman Zo is becoming. Marshall was a very loving and very affectionate husband. His happy place was at home with his family. He lived his life the best he knew, and although he didn’t get a chance to fulfill all his plans and dreams, he accomplished a lot and was content with his journey.

Marshall was preceded in joining the Lord by his mother, Youver Ann Tabon, and father, Jesse Brewer.

He is survived by wife, Oksana Gryzhak Brewer; kids, Marnell Brewer, Chad Brewer, Zofia Brewer; two grandkids, Amari and Carter; brother, Rodney Womble; three sisters, Debbie Barrett, Michelle Walker, and Brandi Moyler; nieces and nephews, and extended family who will sadly miss him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Cancer Research Institute.
By Marshall’s wishes, the celebration of life ceremony will be privately held in a close circle of family. There will be a public event held in Marshall’s memory later; the exact date to be announced. Please leave a message of comfort at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.

Keep the party going in Heaven, Marshall! Until we meet again!
