Marcia Francato Perrin

Kill Devil Hills- Marcia Francato Perrin, 39, passed away on Sunday April 24, 2011 after a long fight with cancer. She was born in Glens Falls, NY and moved with her soon to be husband to the Outer Banks in 1999.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Jay, and children, James and Laurel; her father, Marc Francato and mother Sharon Sears and step-dad Richard Sears; her in-laws Clarke and Linda Perrin, and her “second mom” Aunt Ann Marie Francato. Also surviving is her brother, Tony Francato and sister- in-law, Sheri and children Jacob and Sophia; her step brother, Ricky Sears and wife Lisa and children, Chasidy and Derick; her step-sister, Tina Sears and children Chelsea and Samanntha; her step brother, David Sears and wife Tisha and their children, David and Dylan; and her step-sister, MaryBeth Sears. Survivors also include Marcia’s brother-in-law, Mike Perrin, and wife Lisa and children Ethan, Jordan and Carly; her Sister-in-law Meredith Bowles, and husband Brian, and children Hunter and Garret; and her brother-in-law, Robert Perrin and wife Jennifer.

Marcia was preceded in death by her step-mother, Donna Lee Francato, and Symon.

A memorial service will be held at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel, 6917 South Croatan Highway Nags Head, NC Tuesday April 26 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations in Marcia’s memory be made to the Outer Banks Cancer Support Group, 245 Woodland Dr., Kitty hawk NC 27949.
