Magic Mike Stoffel

January 7, 2016

Kill Devil Hills, NC – Our Outer Banks Favorite Clown, Magic Mike, relocated to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 7th, in the loving arms of family.

Michael Wayne Stoffel was born April 14, 1952, in East Liverpool, Ohio, and was a member of his beloved Still Waters Baptist Church and the Lions Club Chapter of Nags Head.

Mike returned from Vietnam and his wish was to make kids smile. And he did for all generations. He always said with a grin, “I never work, I only play”.

Mike is survived by his loving wife 23 years, Patricia Dampier Stoffel, his son Jack Cook and wife Violet of Kill Devil Hills, daughter Jen Cook Rand and husband Leo of Wilmington NC, daughter Triniti Burton-Pike and husband James of Chandler AZ, his brother Dan Stoffel and wife Eva of East Liverpool, OH, and grandchildren Uriah, James, Zavier, and Shynalla.

Join our family to celebrate Mike’s life on Saturday, January 16th at 3:00 at Still Waters Baptist Church (MP 10), 100 E. Driftwood Drive, Nags Head, NC 27959. A reception will follow.  Honoring him will be his faithful pastor and dear friend, Pastor Tony Facenda.

In lieu of flowers, our family requests that donations be made to Still Waters Baptist Church or to Dare Hospice, PO Box 1000, Manteo NC 27954.

Condolences to the family may be expressed via the online registry at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with local arrangements.

Thank you, Magic Mike, for over 30 years of memories and laughter- well done.
