  3. Aunt Louise’s laugh was contagious, she loved fully. I remember, among other things, sitting at the table at my Grandma Irving’s house on wood side ave. And her mashing bananas in a bowl for us, a little sugar and milk completed the treat,so good, still make it today. My prayers are with all of her loving family as you navigate this chapter. Her love will remain forever!

Louise Walker Campbell

January 4, 2023

Louise Walker Campbell, 76, of Currituck, North Carolina, died suddenly of natural causes at her home, Wednesday, January 4, 2023.  She is the daughter of the late Eleanor and Rex Walker.  She is predeceased by daughter, Kelly Hobgood.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, David Campbell Sr; children, Tina Scanlon and her husband, Dan, John Irving Jr. and his wife, Lisa, David Campbell Jr., and Michael Campbell; sister, Patricia Walker; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome at a celebration of life gathering to be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Gallop Memorial Chapel in Barco, North Carolina (4055 Caratoke Hwy).
