Lawrence Karl Eismeier

Lawrence Karl Eismeier of Mountain Lakes, NJ and Southern Shores, NC passed away suddenly in Norfolk, VA on March 5, 2012.  He was the son of the late Dorothy and Karl Eismeier of East Orange, NJ.  Larry, a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers School of Law, served as law clerk to the Hon. Vincent C. Duffy in Paterson following law school.  He was an attorney for 27 years in private practice.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ellen (nee Seugling), a son, Jim (Deanna) of Burke, VA, a daughter, Kathy Hines (Vince) of Ascot, England and ten grandchildren.  In addition his brothers Tom and Ted and his sister Betsy Beaver survive.

He was an avid New York Yankee, Villanova and UNC basketball fan.  Larry loved the beaches of NC and Kauai and truly enjoyed the time with his family.  He had a life long passion for reading and history.

No services will be held.  Arrangements were handled by Gallop Funeral Services in Nags Head, NC.  Memorial gifts may be made in Larrys name to The Lost Colony, 1409 National Park Drive, Manteo, NC 27954.
