Lane T. Meyers

March 25, 2024

Lane T. Meyers died of natural causes at her Grandy residence March 25, 2024. Survivors include her husband, Linvel Meyers of the home as well as other relatives and friends.

Lane was an artist as a child and grew to become accomplished in all painting techniques including watercolors, oils, acrylics and, especially, pastels through rigorous training, talent, creativity and production, both nascent and finished. She was a natural musician and played, by ear and with enthusiasm, the recorder, harmonica, guitar, banjo and piano, but most beautifully the flute (Lane had three). She developed into a wonderful cook, trying and tweaking others recipes and developing her own dishes; her early training, believe it or not, was provided by her husband.

Lane loved and cherished this world.  She abhorred injustices to the people, animals, plants and the sustaining environment.  She was a resolute friend to those that reciprocated.  She was lovely and joyful, and weathered all the storms of life: life is what happens when you have other plans.  Lane is missed.

Lane’s preference for cremation will be honored. There are no plans for services at this time. Please share an expression of sympathy with the Meyers family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
