Kristen L. Malinofski

Kill Devil Hills – Kristen L. Malinofski, 53, succumbed to chronic liver disease January 27, 2020 in Greenville, NC.  Kristen was born in Jacksonville, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Theodore Ward and the wife of the late Warren Malinofski who passed away recently.

Kristen was raised in Pittsburgh, PA but considered the Outer Banks home- where she raised her four children.  Surviving are her mother Candace Ward of Pittsburgh, PA; her two daughters, Meghan Murray of Manns Harbor, NC and Nicole Witmer (Josh) of Asheville, NC; two sons, Zachary Dauenhauer and Erik Dauenhauer both of Kill Devil Hills, NC; one sister Kelly Ward, also of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren Easton Murray and Charley Witmer as well as other family members and friends.

The family has no plans for services at this time. The outpouring of love and generosity from the family and friends of Kristen Malinofski has covered her care IN FULL. The donation list for funeral expenses has now closed. Those still wishing to aid the family are encouraged to contact the children directly to determine what their needs may be- THANK YOU!
