Kimberly Bartus

Kill Devil Hills – Kimberly Bartus passed from this life on Friday June 1, 2018.  She was born February 11, 1969 in Franklin County, MA.

Kimberly is survived by her long-time partner, Robert Schweida and the love of her life; her daughter, Hope Elizabeth Schweida.  She is also survived by her Mother, Noreen Grogan; her father, Joseph Bartus; her sister, Michelle (Marc Palmisano); her niece, Kaitlin; and two nephews, Anthony and Brody.

Kimberly grew up in Massachusetts, moving to Virginia for a while and then to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She worked for many years for Beach Mart, Inc.  She so cherished her bosses and Ms. Wendy.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a local Cancer support charity or to Nags Head Elementary School.

Kimberly’s memorial service will be held Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 11 am at Gallop Funeral Services, Inc Nags Head chapel.
