Kevin Warren Baum

Nags Head- Kevin Warren Baum passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Nags Head surrounded by his family. He was born October 11, 1958 in Norfolk, VA to the late Robert M. Baum Jr. and Lucinda Gallop Baum.

Kevin was a custom boat builder, a talented craftsman, and later a merchant seaman with the NC ferry division. He was loved for his constant smile and big heart. Kevin is survived by three sons; Warren Gallop Baum, Samuel Friedrich Baum, and Daniel Boyd Baum; two sisters, Christianna Powers, Rebecca Baum Gometz and husband  James; two brothers, Robert Mullen Baum III and wife Janet, Jonathan David Baum and wife Debi, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Friday, May 1, 2015 at Roanoke Island Presbyterian Church.  The family would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Dare Hospice, PO Box 1000,  Manteo NC 27954.
