Kenneth Birdsall

Nags Head – Kenneth Birdsall, 63, passed away Thursday October 24, 2013 in Nags Head, NC.

He was the son of the late Norm and Helen Birdsall.  Ken was also predeceased by his brother, Mike Birdsall; nephew, Tim Birdsall and sister-in-law, Judy Birdsall.

Ken was a retired security guard and a former NOAA marine chef. Ken also loved folk music and was a lifelong aspiring musician, playing the washtub bass.

He is survived by his brothers; Norm Birdsall (Reba) of Clemmons, NC, Jerry Birdsall of Denver Colorado, and Tim Birdsall of Nags Head.  Also surviving is his sister, Maureen Foster of Nags Head; and two nieces Danielle also of Nags Head, and Teresa of Denver.

In lieu of flowers, the Birdsall family will gratefully accept memorial tributes in Ken’s name c/o Gallop Funeral Services.  There are no services planned at this time.
