Kathleen Ann Halloran

Kill Devil Hills – Kathy Halloran was born Kathleen Ann James on August 24, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late George and Lottie James. Kathy died peacefully on June 14, 2016 in Chesapeake.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Brian Owen Halloran; her daughters Erinn Bennar, Kellye Amber Halloran, and Kathleen Tracy Halloran; and four grandchildren, Owen Layfette, London Alisha, Addason Milla, and Brooklyn Elise.  Also surviving Kathy is her sister, Leslie James.  She was predeceased by her brother Stephen James in 2001.

Kathy was a 1964 graduate of Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York.  She lived on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for 30 years and was the owner of Halloran & Co. Fine Jewelry and Blue Ocean Events.

She will be missed by her family and will be remembered lovingly as a kind and decent person.

Friends may call on the family and view Saturday June 18, 2016 form 6 pm to 8 pm at the Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. chapel mp 16 in Nags Head. A wake is planned for Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Torregrossa Funeral Home 1305 79th Street in Brooklyn, NY 11228 (718)232-8844. The funeral will be held Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church at 192 81st Street Brooklyn, NY 11209 . Further  arrangements are pending.
