Juana Carrillo Hernández

Juana Carrillo Hernández, de 49 años, el pasado 6 de agosto de 2026, falleció en el Hospital General de Norfolk, Virginia.

Nació el 18 de abril de 1977 en México, ciudad de Tepic, Nayarit. Cursó hasta el séptimo grado escolar y emigró a Carolina del Norte, Estados Unidos, en el 2002.

Tuvo diferentes trabajos, pero se destacó en la pintura de casas. Ella amaba cantar y bailar, ir de pesca, el fútbol, cocinar, pasar tiempo en la playa, convivir con su familia y amigos.

Era una mujer muy trabajadora, alegre y humilde. Siempre ayudaba a los desprotegidos y ofrecía un plato de comida al llegar a su casa.

A Juana le sobreviven su mamá, Celia Hernández, sus cuatro hijos: el mayor, Giovanni; su segunda hija, Dulce; su tercer hijo, Jersahi; y el menor, Uriel; su marido, Juan González; su nieta, Mia Isabela; su familia adoptiva, Nancy, Cris, Jr, Araceli, Leti, Lupita, Ramón y Carmen.

Ella fue una mujer muy valiente. Siempre será recordada con mucho amor y cariño por sus familiares, amigos y seres queridos por siempre.

Barco – Juana Carrillo Hernández, 49 years old, passed away on August 6, 2026, at Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia.

She was born on April 18, 1977, in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. She attended school through the seventh grade and immigrated to North Carolina, United States, in 2002.

She had different jobs throughout her life, but she was especially known for her work painting houses. She loved singing and dancing, fishing, soccer, cooking, spending time at the beach, and being with her family and friends.

She was a very hardworking, joyful, and humble woman. She always helped those who were less fortunate and would offer a plate of food to anyone who arrived at her home.

Juana is survived by her mother, Celia Hernández; her four children: her oldest, Giovanni; her second child, Dulce; her third child, Jersahi; and her youngest, Uriel; her husband, Juan González; her granddaughter, Mia Isabella and her adopted family, Nancy, Cris, Jr, Araceli, Leti, Lupita, Ramón, and Carmen.
