Joseph Frederick Agnew, Jr.

Kill Devil Hills – Papa Joe Agnew, 75, of Kill Devil Hills died July 26th at his home. He was born in Kansas City, MO to Abby and Fred Agnew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie.  Papa Joe is survived by his two daughters Lori Jones, her husband Mike and their two daughters Amanda and Amy and Stacy O’Neal and her husband Bud and their daughter Ariel.

Papa Joe lived life to the fullest. He was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. Many of his life endeavors including owning a successful restaurant in the Ghent area of Norfolk, part owner of a country and western band and a long career in the flooring industry.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Dare County, memory of Joe Agnew. The family will hold a celebration of life in September.
