John Wesley Jones Jr.

Wanchese – John Wesley Jones Jr., 82, born January 20, 1934 died suddenly on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at home. John lived in Wanchese and was formerly from Philadelphia and New Jersey. John served honorably in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953.
John is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gail; daughters, Gillian Hadden, Christine Jones, Barri Segal; son, John W. Jones III; and six grandchildren, Lilah, Violet, Wiley, Jay, Avery and Elsie.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Gallop Funeral Chapel in Nags Head.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of North Carolina.
