John Patrick Wenzel, Jr.

Point Harbor- John Patrick Wenzel, Jr. died unexpectedly at home January 6, 2012. John was born in Kingston, New York January 31, 1952. He was predeceased by his father John P. Wenzel, Sr.

John worked as a professional truck driver for many years.  He loved fishing and swimming on his beloved Outer Banks and playing his guitar.

Surviving John is his wife of 40 years, Ann Marie Wenzel of the Point Harbor residence; his son, Jonathan Wenzel also of Point Harbor; his daughter, Amelia Lynn Anson (Ken) of New York; his mother, Helen Wenzel; his sister, Patricia Sample (Mike); his brother, Kevin Wenzel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Also surviving at John�s special friends, Rhonda Marquis and Carolee Satori.

The family will hold a celebration of John�s life Sunday January 15, 2012 from noon to 1 pm at the New Beach Sound Access Point Harbor Beach in Currituck County. Friends may gather at the family residence following the service and at other times.
