John Joseph Madden, III

May 31, 2026

John Madden of Aydlett, NC passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. He was born to John and Patricia Madden December 21, 1952. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Terry Madden. John is survived by his wife Beth (Warner) Madden; a daughter, Christine Marina Lynn; and two granddaughters, Morrigan and Kahli.

John was an officer of the Union Township Police Department, and a member of the Belleville Volunteer Fire Department.  After relocating to North Carolina, He worked for many years at Henrys Gas Station, on route 168 in Coinjock, NC.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Maple, NC,  Monday June 8, 2026 at 2pm, after which he will be interred in the family cemetery. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or St Katharine Drexel Church. Please share a message of comfort at gallopfuneralservices.com.
