Jeremy Day

Kill Devil Hills- Jeremy Day, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2017 in Fredericksburg, VA, at 30 yrs of age.
Born with a heart of gold, an infectious smile & an ever present twinkle in his eye, Jeremy effortlessly brought joy & laughter into the lives of all those fortunate enough to know him. Never having met a stranger and not one to simply judge a book by its cover, he made friends easily and was loyal, generous and supportive to each and every one of them. A free spirit who found his happiness in spur of the moment travel adventures, dancing for hours in fire light, searching the stars from the deck of his much loved boat & rabidly cheering on his beloved Broncos along side his equally rabid Bronco loving family, Jeremy lived in the present and on his own terms, never surrendering his dreams for the mundane.
Left to cherish his memory are his ever loving parents; Dan & Paula Rodriguez (KDH) and David Day (Fredericksburg, VA). His adored & adoring sisters; Bethany Day (Charlotte, NC), Autumn Rodriguez (of the home), Amanda Day (Fredericksburg, VA) and Willow Day (Fredericksburg, VA). Grandparents; Becky McDonough of SC, Donna Lane (Gordon) of SC and Danny Rodriguez (Jeri) of VA. Uncles; Troy McDonough (Suzanne) of VA, Brian McDonough (Melanie) of VA, Jonathan Day (Geri) of WA and Davin Rodriguez (Yolanda) of AZ. Aunts Patricia Panos (Brian) of SC, Susie Day Trevino of VA and Dusti Rodriguez of VA. And his much loved cousins, especially Tommy Trevino who was his lifelong best buddy and partner in crime.
Predeceasing Jeremy are his much loved grandfather and fish tutor, Robert McDonough of SC and Elizabeth Day of VA.
A service of remembrance will be held 3pm, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Gallop Funeral Chapel in Nags Head.
