  2. sure am sorry loved her dearly best friend I had for many years CHARLES was too we did lots of tines together sure will miss her her family surely will miss a sweet person she was so thoughtful never missed a birthday sent a card every time and at CHRISTMAS too loved visiting her at home she will surely be missed by me we nad lots of good times together especially playing BINGO we even played in CHEROKEE CHARLES drove us there on one of my first times playing visited her every time I had my dog groomed we would go eat at HENRY’S sure will miss those times with her she was an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person REST now JEANNIE and spend your fun times with CHARLES as I know you are happy with him again miss both of you love you and miss you forever TANYA WESCOTT

Jeanne Cleary-Clabaugh

Kill Devil Hills – Jeanne Williams McCoy Cleary Clabaugh passed away on July 26, 2022. Jeanne was born in Norfolk, VA on February 9, 1933, to the late Frances and Frank Williams. She was the oldest of three children and the widow of Charles D. Clabaugh.

Jeanne is survived by a daughter, Dianne Sheard of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Jeffrey Cleary (Tanya) of Key Largo, FL; a step-son, Charles Clabaugh (Alicia) of Orwigsburg, PA; a grandson, Alex Sheard of Virginia Beach, VA; a granddaughter, Annie Mertens of Palm Beach, FL; and sister, Margaret Doyle (Denny) of Kill Devil Hills. NC.

Jeanne was predeceased by her brother, Frank Williams of Davenport, FL and lots of nieces and nephews.

Jeanne worked 30 years with GMAC, reaching a management position and then retired to the Outer Banks of NC. She enjoyed traveling all the US states, cruising, spending time with family, and loved to play Bingo.
