James Shawn Gulihur

Columbia- James Shawn Gulihur went home to be with our father in heaven July 19, 2012. James was born March 30, 1956 in Deer Park, Texas. James was a lifelong mechanic and most recently was employed with ABC Towing in Kitty Hawk. James was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. So many people loved him and he will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving James is his wife Janie Gulihur of the Columbia residence; one daughter, Samantha Gulihur of Waynesboro, VA; one granddaughter Lexi Thomas, also of Waynesboro; two brothers, Donald Gulihur of California, and William Gulihur of Texas; and one sister Ida Nell Flournoy also of Texas.
Plans for a local memorial service are pending at this time. The family gratefully suggests that memorial donations in James’ honor be made to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
